How can mute the low E string on a guitar without using the thumb?
Is there a way to mute the string above without using thumb? I'm learning a song is made entirely of chords that serious E jumping rope and my hand is too small for your thumb to reach all the road around the neck of the guitar. Does anyone know a trick that will mute the E string without putting your fingers on it? Also, if it makes a difference, I'm playing the song has a capo on the 2nd fret. Please help!
Fretting I use my fingers to mute most of the time, not often thumb. For example, when I touch a chord of C. My ring finger is the third fret C Fretting chain A.
