How to get a low tone metal?
Need some advice on where the parameters of the equalizer set (low, medium, high) for its metal in Nice on my bass when in Drop C (CEMF). For the moment I have no pedal effects or anything so all I have at my disposal are the equalizer buttons, any help would be appreciated:)
With bass in a metallic mediums situation are always your friend. It also tends to mask your mids and highs with fuzzy low-end and even though it may make you seem larger and powerful when you are comfortable in the practice of most situations your live sound is just lost in the mix when you pump your bass. So, as blasphemous as it may seem a smooth cut to the low frequency range is actually a good thing in a situation of metal strips.
