guitar amplifier configuration contour presence?
I am looking for a website that tells me the guitar amp settings for Kiss acdc metallica etc.. my amps distortion settings only has the volume and contour presence settings and can only say things like finding the middle and lower treble, but I only have the clean channel, so if you can tell me a website link or tell me that adjustments would be awesome
Without knowing what guitar are using or what model of amplifier you have, how you expect anyone specific configuration? Even if you have the configuration accurate, are only a starting point. If you understand what each one does have control, must be able to get there and find yourself. low, mid and treble are pretty obvious. "Contour" means different things to different amplifiers. I know this goes against the creed musician, but read the manual to find out. "Presence" controls the very high frequencies in their sound, above the range of the treble control.
