Are there companies in the world make affordable electric cars?
-GM recalled the EV1, Toyota recalled the Rav-4 electric Tesla now says they are making $ 100K a car in the future. Yahoo doesn't seem to list of electric cars. Is there a car manufacturer affordable electricity?
I bought a little electric city car from ZAP XEBRA call in October. It's $ 10k and designed to handle the city of Short driving. You can go up to 40 MPH, so it is not designed for highway use, but it fits perfectly into my trip, which is about 10-15 miles per day. People who make a lot of highway driving probably could not own a car like this, but a multi-car families, small businesses, municipal or corporate fleet probably could help save a lot of money and handle something that is friendlier to the environment.
